不知道這有沒有op過…是那種轉寄電郵裡令我會心微笑的一封.
以下是, 四至八歲的小孩被問及 "什麼是愛?" 的答案:
When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just
know that your name is safe in their mouth. Billy - age 4
當一個人愛你的時候, 他叫你名字的方式是不同的. 你會為你的名字在他口中說出而感到
安心.
-比利 四歲
"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries
without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy - age 6
愛就是, 你外出用餐時, 讓對方吃掉自己大部份的薯條, 卻不會硬著要對方也讓你吃他的
-克利絲 六歲
When my grandma got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails
anymore. So my grandpa does it for her now all the time, even when his hands
got arthritis too. That's love.
Rebecca- age 8
我外婆得了關節炎的時候, 她再也不能彎腰塗腳指甲了. 所以現在我外公就一直為她塗,
即便他手部也得了關節炎. 那就是愛.

Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before
giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.
Danny- age 7
愛是我媽給我爸煮咖啡的時候, 一定會在給他喝前先喝一口, 確保味道沒問題.

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you
still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and my daddy are like
that. They look gross when they kiss.
Emily- age 8
愛就是無時無刻都在親吻. 當你吻得累了, 你還會想跟對方待在一起, 也會多講話.
我爸媽就是這樣. 他們親吻的時候難看極了.

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents
and listen.

要是在聖誕節時, 停下拆禮物的動作並細心傾聽, 愛就存在於你的房間裡.

You really shouldn't say I LOVE YOU unless you mean it. But if you mean it,
you should say it a lot. People forget.
Jessica- age 8 (priceless)
如果不是認真的話就不應該說我愛你. 要是你是認真的, 就該常常說. 人們是會忘記的.

A 4 year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly man who had just
lost his wife. When the child saw the man cry, the little boy went over into
the man's yard and climbed on top of the man's lap and just sat there. When
the boy's mother asked him what he'd said to the neighbor, the little boy
said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."
一名四歲小孩年長的鄰居剛失去了妻子.
當他看到那老伯伯哭的時候, 那小孩子走到那老人家的院子裡,
在他的大腿上坐了下來.
被問到他對老鄰居說了什麼的時候, 那小孩子說;
"我什麼也沒說. 我只是在幫他哭."
